多様で奥深い白

都市に建つ集合住宅のエントランスにおいて、「白」という一見均質な要素を通して、個人の多様性と奥行きを表現することを試みた。

現代の都市生活では、居住者はしばしば属性やターゲットとして単純化され、画一的な空間に当てはめられがちである。本計画ではそうした前提に対し、個々人の内面にある複雑さや揺らぎを受け止める「余白」としての空間を構想した。

空間は白を基調としながらも、素材やディテール、光の当たり方によって異なる表情を生み出している。滑らかな曲面、陰影を孕む壁、柔らかく反射する光が重なり合い、単一の白ではなく、奥行きと広がりをもつ白として立ち現れる。

また、エントランスは単なる通過動線ではなく、外部と住居のあいだに位置する中間領域として再定義した。ラウンジやワークスペースといった機能を内包することで、居住者がそれぞれの距離感で滞在できる場所となっている。

雑多な都市環境の中に現れる白いファサードは、凛とした輪郭によって自律した個人を象徴すると同時に、曲面による柔らかさによって他者や社会との関係性を内包する。

本計画は、均質に見える白の中に多様性を内在させることで、現代における個人のあり方を静かに肯定する空間である。

A Deep and Plural White

This project reconsiders white—often perceived as neutral and homogeneous—as a medium to express individual diversity and depth.

Through the interplay of material, curved geometry, and light, the space produces a layered “white” that is rich in nuance.

The entrance is conceived as an intermediate domain between the city and private life, incorporating shared functions such as a lounge and workspace to support diverse modes of inhabitation.

The white façade simultaneously expresses autonomy and openness, suggesting a new spatial model that embraces individuality within the contemporary urban condition.
